Upon installation, we generate and store an **anonymous unique identifier (Client ID)** in your browser's local storage. This ID is used exclusively for:

• Tracking your free daily usage quota.
• Verifying your Premium subscription status with our server.

B. Service Content

When you initiate a summary, the text you select or submit is sent to a third-party API for processing.

• Content Sent: The content of the selected text and its word count.
• Purpose: The content is used solely by the OpenAI API to generate the requested summary and is not stored long-term by Ravenary.

C. Usage Data

We track your **word consumption** (daily and monthly totals) to enforce the free quota and verify Premium access. We also collect basic connection data, such as your **IP address**, which is necessary for communicating with our server and the OpenAI API.

3. Third-Party Sharing (Data Processors)

We rely on third-party services, which act as data processors, to fulfill the extension's core function:

• OpenAI API: Receives selected text content to generate the summary.
• Stripe: Our payment processor, which securely handles all payment information (credit cards, email, billing address) when you purchase a Premium subscription. Ravenary does not store or access your payment card details.

We do not sell or transfer any user data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
